Our Peaceful Future: Peace and Social Justice

We have joined our partner school, The Savvy School in Pakistan, in working on projects focusing on Peace and Social Justice.

Peace is one of our school values. Our restorative approach as a form of conflict resolution seeks a peaceful reconciliation between parties and ways to deal with issues peacefully in the future.

As a whole school initiative we are addressing various forms of discrimination and social injustice in our Lifting Limits project.

Bourne Primary School Peace and Armistice

Focusing on SDG #16, Peace and Strong Institutions we want to work with our partner school to spread a message of peace, love, appreciation, motivation and care to enhance and emphasise unity.

Savvy School

Our partner school The Savvy School looked at Peace and Social Justice. Look at their videos and presentation of learning below.

On January 27th, we commemorated Holocaust Memorial Day with a special assembly. During our energy saving week, all classes made Flames of Hope for a display. The symbol of the Holocaust Memorial is an eternal flame.
